Borderlands DLC Revealed

Players can get prepared to go visit the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned later this year before Borderlands is even out in stores.

2K Games announced the planned release of the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, a downloadable pack for the role-playing shooter Borderlands.

The downloadable pack, which will be 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 on PlayStation 3, takes players to a new locale, Jakobs Cove, where they run into the brillant Dr. Ned, who is so efficient of a doctor that none of his patients die - they just turn into zombies. Teaming up with him, you must cure the infected, all while experiencing new enemies, new quests, and getting rare items.

Borderlands is coming out next week on October 20. The downloadable pack is due out by the end of the year.

I hate DLC that's already announced before the game comes out. At this point companies are just withholding stuff that could go into the final product for the sake of having DLC.
