This game looks pretty solid, but screw that damn GameStop pre-order bonus.
C.O.P. The Recruit Gets a New Trailer and Pre-Order Bonus
Check out the newest trailer for C.O.P The Recruit as well as details regarding Gamestop's exclusive pre-order bonus.
C.O.P. The Recruit was first revealed at this year's E3, and so far there have been limited details concerning the title itself.
What we do know is that the game is a third-person shooter with driving elements, very similar to Grand Theft Auto titles. There will be over sixty missions for players to complete, which will occur in a city that spans around six miles. The title is expected to contain over twenty hours of gameplay, and takes use of the DS' features including the touch screen and microphone.
Players will take the role of Dan Miles, a former street car racer who was recruited to be part of the C.O.P., or Criminal Overturn Program. The game itself is set in New York City, and Miles is a detective who helps protect the citizens from any high-level threat. Working alongside his partner Brad Winter, Miles investigates a series of terrorist threats that have been ravaging the city. While conducting this investigation, Brad is falsely arrested, bringing the investigation to a halt. Miles then sets out to uncover the truth by going undercover, back to his life on the streets.
Recently, Ubisoft released a new trailer for the title which can be viewed below. For those planning on purchasing the game, Gamestop is offering a pre-order bonus code which will unlock two bonus missions.
C.O.P. The Recruit is rated T for Teen, and releases November 3 in North America with a suggested retail price of $29.99.
