3D Dot Game Heroes Has Racing And Tower Defense Mini-Games

The From Software-made PlayStation 3 game will also have a tougher difficulty mode and other bonuses.

The extra mini-games and modes of From Software's PlayStation 3-exclusive 3D Dot Game Heroes were revealed recently courtesy of Andriasang.

There were two mini-games that were revealed. Dash Race is a basic racing game, while Block Defense is 3D Dot Game Heroes' take on the tower defense genre. Players use blocks to attack their opponents and can take their character into the fray as well.

A few bonus modes were also announced.

One of them is From mode, which is an extreme difficulty mode. Along with tougher enemies and the like, all characters will be aware that you're playing the tougher mode and congratulate you for it.

Players will be able to make Grid mode active, which shows the environment in a grid format. There's also Readable mode, that has the text in a bigger and blockier font that is supposed to make it easier to read.

3D Dot game Heroes is set for a November release in Japan. There are no current plans to release it anywhere else.
