Ubisoft releases more information regarding the trio of short films based around their popular series.
Today Ubisoft released new details regarding their upcoming short movie trio based on the Assassin's Creed story, Assassin's Creed: Lineage.
The films are intended to give gamers insight into the events leading up to the beginning of Assassin's Creed II, namely Ezio's father Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, whose backstory is discussed within the films. Lineage will feature characters that players will encounter in Assassin's Creed II, including friends and villains.
The short films are being made by Ubisoft's Hybride Technologies, the same visual studio responsible for 300 and Sin City. Live action sequences combined with CGI will form the final product for Assassin's Creed: Lineage.
The first episode will be posted on Youtube starting on October 27, and will be available to view for a period of 24 hours only. Below you can check out a preview for the short films as well as photos depicting the filming process.
