Telltale Games Wants to Expand onto Different Consoles
Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors reveals his interest in other platforms, downloadable content, and more in a recent interview.
Telltale Games is most recently known for their work on Tales of Monkey Island, a five episode game series released on WiiWare between July and November 2009.
In a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Telltale Games expressed interest in creating titles for platforms other than the Wii. When asked whether or not Telltale Games thought it would be important to explore other mediums such as XBLA and PSN, CEO Dan Connors stated, "Oh yes. We definitely believe that the connected consoles are going to be major players in defining the future of entertainment."
According to Connors, digital distribution is also "going to be part of [their] plan" and they are currently "working on getting [their] content over to some more channels, over to new consoles and the Mac." After they accomplish that particular goal Connor believes they will most certainly be looking into handheld consoles, and Telltale Games may have to "consider the PSPgo for sure."
