Nintendo Launches Helper Master Program in Japan

Players looking to earn themselves a full catalog of Nintendo published Virtual Console games will just need a little help from their friends.

Known as the Connection Ambassador Promotion in Europe, Nintendo's generous program launched yesterday in Japan as the Helper Master Program.

The Helper Master Program incentivizes players to help friends and family connect their Wii systems to the Internet. Helping ten other people connect will earn players free reign access to Nintendo's first-party published Famicom Virtual Console games. The program's second tier awards players full access to all first-party Virtual Console titles for connecting 20 people.

Players will only need to input the Wii System Friend Code of their helper in order for them to earn credit for helping connect the family member.

The program was also announced to launch in Europe this month, but Nintendo of Europe has yet to issue a formal date for the start of the program.

Hot Story

In Memory of Michael Alvarado

The person I'm referring to is, of course, Michael Alvarado, otherwise known as Michael117.
