Livly Garden Gets a Release Date
This Japanese title moves from PC to the DS.
Livly Garden was originally a PC game developed by So-Net that allowed players to raise strange creatures called Livly on their islands. While raising these creatures, players could also visit other player's islands.
Today, Marvelous Entertainment announced the release date for the DS version of the title, which is being developed by Brownie Brown. The game is coming to Japan on January 28, 2010 for a price of ¥5,040.
Players will be able to raise Livly and watch them as they eat bugs, excrete gems (doodoo), and show off their special powers. Decorating a garden with lots of flowers will help to ensure that a players' Livly remains content at all times.
Along with the purchase of the DS game, players will receive three "Transiron" cards, which will allow players to unlock a particular Livly within the PC version that are only available in the DS adaption.
