Ignition Happy With First Month Muramasa Sales

The Vanillaware-developed title sold shy of 35,000 in the month of September.

In its first month on North American shelves, Muramasa: The Demon Blade sold a little bit under 35,000 units.

Melody Frieda, Ignition's marketing director, told Joystiq that sales are "in line with expectations and [they're] happy with how it's performing to date."

Frieda also said that Ignition is optimistic for a long tail for Muramasa and they hope it will be come a cult classic like Vanillaware's past title Odin Sphere.
