Free DLC Coming to Brutal Legend

Only PS3 owners can take advantage of this deal.

Gamers who have purchased Brutal Legend for PS3 may be interested to know that free downloadable content will soon be available.

A new map pack, entitled the Tears of the Hextadon, will contain two new maps for players to utilize in the online multiplayer campaign. The first map, Circle of Tears, is an area completely surrounded by water, whereas the second, Death's Fjord, is set on a dangerous ice covered mountain path.

From November 5 until November 19 Brutal Legend PS3 owners will be able to download the map pack for free, although Brutal Legend 360 owners will have to purchase it for 400 Microsoft Points.

There has been no official announcement as to why the PS3 DLC is free, and the Xbox 360 DLC is not.
