Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Features Konami Code

The upcoming PSP title features the classic code along with an alternate control scheme officially endorsed by Capcom.

With the next Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo about to launch in Japan, some new details have been made available by Hideo Kojima regarding the title and the demo itself.

The title is set to feature the classic Konami Code, modified for the PSP of course: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, x, and circle.

Entering the code will enable a new control scheme, known as the Hunters Type. The control type is named and modeled after the popular Monster Hunter series. Kojima had made the control scheme with the series in mind and even went as far as asking permission from Capcom to use the control scheme within the game.

The Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo will be available tomorrow on PSN in Japan as well as the official Peace Walker website.
