Modern Warfare 2 Patched for PS3

A variety of issues have been addressed and more servers are being added to meet demand.

An update on Robert Bowling's Twitter page, reveals that the PS3 version of the game has been updated.

Users have been complaining that trophies have not been registering and that friends aren't able to be invited into matches.

According to Bowling's update, the patch fixes both of these issues, but others do still exist. The multiplayer servers are currently overloaded, so Infinity Ward are adding more to meet demand.

Bowling's message is available below.

"PS3 Status: Patch successful. Trophy Unlocks on PS3 now available in Single Player & Spec Ops. Adding more servers to meet MP demand."
