Phalanx Remake Coming to WiiWare

The classic shoot'em up from Zoom Inc. is coming to WiiWare.

A recent listing on Game Watch Impress reveals that Zoom Inc. is remaking Phalanx for WiiWare.

Zoom Inc. originally developed and released Phalanx on the Sharp X68000(a computer that was only released in Japan). The game was eventually ported to the SNES and Game Boy Advance by Kemco. The remake is going to be based on the X68000 version with a couple of modifications.

The Phalanx remake is going to be released on WiiWare this winter in Japan for 500 Wii Points.

Because Kemco did the SNES and GBA versions. Zoom who is doing the remake did the original X68000 version.
