360 Update Will Include Social Networking

Next week's Live update will include two of the web's biggest social networking sites.

A new update will be coming to Xbox Live this upcoming week and with it are many new features, including the implementation of the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

This news was recently announced by Xbox Live's General Manager, Marc Whitten who stated that the features will "[turn] Xbox and Live into this rich media portal that continuously surfaces the most engaging things to do in the living room."

With this update, Xbox Live users will be able to send images from their 360s directly to their facebook accounts in addition to integrating Twitter messaging with Live.

The update will release next Tuesday, November 17.
