Mario Graces NASCAR

This weekend the first Mario themed car will enter the famous sport.

Mario has seen his likeness on countless objects throughout the years from mugs to clothing. But come this Saturday, Mario and his companions will show their faces like never before.

At the upcoming Able Body Labor 200 at Phoenix International Raceway, pro NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin will get behind the wheel of the brand new No. 20 GameStop Toyota; fully decorated with images of Mario and his friends from their upcoming title, New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

The first race of the Mario car was intentionally matched up closely to the release date of New Super Mario Bros Wii. Along with the announcement, Nintendo was gracious enough to include a mock-up of the racecar, which can be seen below. The final look of the car itself will be revealed tomorrow, so keep an eye out for our updated coverage on this story.
