Sony Announces adhocParty for PSP

Sony confirms that the application will come soon to North America.

Today, Sony announced on the official PlayStation Blog that adhocParty will be released soon in North America as a free download on the PlayStation Store.

The application allows you to play PSP games with adhoc mode(local wireless multiplayer), online through your PlayStation 3. You run adhocParty on your PS3 and connect your PSP to the PS3 wireless via Wi-Fi in order to play against someone else online.

The application also allows you to voice chat with the other person if you have a compatible headset for PS3 or a PlayStation Eye.

While Sony has not specified an official release date for adhocParty, the blog entry reveals that they will share more information soon.
