Activision Announces the Formation of Sledgehammer Games

Former Visceral Games executives will manage Activision's new video game studio.

According to Gamasutra, Activision announced the formation of a new video game studio, Sledgehammer Games. The new studio is based in Foster City, CA .

Sledgehammer Games will be managed by two former executives from EA's Visceral Games studio, Glen Schofield and Michael Condry. Their last game with EA was Dead Space.

Activision has announced that the developer is underway on an unannounced video game.
