Famitsu reveals that the once Wii-exclusive title is coming to other platforms.
For quite a while now, it has been rumored that No More Heroes would receive a port to this generations other consoles from the Wii. Today, Famitsu confirmed those rumors with the announcement of No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise for Japan, an HD remake of the Wii title.
Aside from the visual upgrade, players will be treated to a choice of voiceovers, either English or Japanese. Players will also be able to unlock a new mode: Very Sweet Mode.
According to an Andriasang translation, the mode will change the clothing of all female characters in the game into something sexier, such as skimpy bathing suits and cheerleader outfits, amongst other things.
Given that neither the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 currently feature motion controls, tweaks are being made to the Wii motion controls to make them work with a standard controller.
Japanese players will be able to grab the game on February 25 for ¥5,800 ($65).
In My Opinion, No More Heroes without motion controls will feel a little off. I saw some scans of the Famitsu article and the graphics looks almost exactly the same. I guess it's a minimum effort port but we shall see when it's actually released.
The idea of Very Sweet Mode just seems a little silly but it's something that I can see Suda 51 implement in his game.
Very Sweet Mode sounds perfect for anyone who would want to play this game on PS3 or 360.

I wonder how it'll sell here, and in comparison to the Wii sequel. That'll be interesting to see.
I'm glad that a larger audience will get to enjoy this game, but I don't think they will be getting the proper experience. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out when it inevitably releases here in America.
