New Details on Nintendo's Next WiiWare Title 530 Eco Shooter

Nintendo's upcoming WiiWare title is an environment-themed light-gun game.

Though announced quite a while ago, Nintendo has finally released details on the Intelligent Systems developed, 530 Eco Shooter. In the WiiWare shooter you play as Ossan who is trying to defeat the mysterious Can Can Aliens who are stealing cans from a can factory to make vehicles.

In order to defeat the aliens, Ossan has a recycling cannon that breaks down fleeing cans into GE energy. The GE energy can be captured by pointing at it and pressing Z. Ossan's recycling cannon consumes GE energy whenever he fires a shot and once you run out of GE energy you lose the game.

Players will not have free movement around Ossan's world as the game is an on-rails shooter. As such, the title includes Zapper support although the game can be played without the peripheral.

530 Eco Shooter will be available on WiiWare in Japan on November 24 and will be priced at 1000 Wii Points.
