Left 4 Dead 2 Sells 2 Million Copies

Valve comments on future DLC.

In less than a month's time, Left 4 Dead 2 has already managed to sell 2 million retail copies, a figure not including downloadble copies sold through Steam.

The game has already vastly surpassed its predecessor's lifetime sales. This is particularly surprising considering that Left 4 Dead released only last year.

Doug Lombardi, VP of marketing at Valve feels that "Left 4 Dead 2 is off to a great start with strong support at retail and great reviews from the press." According to Lombardi, "news regarding L4D2 DLC 1 is coming very soon."
