Akira Yamaoka Resigns from Konami

The composer of the Silent Hill franchise officially resigned from Konami.

Earlier this week, rumors appeared that Akira Yamaoka, a composer for Konami, had left the company.

This rumor was officially confirmed earlier this week when Yamaoka told Original Sound Version that he did resign from Konami.

Mr. Yamaoka is primarily known for composing the soundtrack for the Silent Hill games. He has also contributed to other Konami franchises such as Contra, Gradius, Sparkster, and Snatcher.
