Konami Announces New Rhythm Game for DS

Konami is developing a touch screen based rhtyhm game for DS.

Recently Konami posted a new game listing for Utacchi, a rhythm game for the DS, on their website.

Andriasang has translated the product listing, and according to the translation, Utacchi is a combination of the Japanese words for touch and song.

In the game players will touch an object, called a Tachii, to the rhythm of the music. The game can also be played by singing into the DS microphone.

In addition to a solo campaing, Utacchi will also feature a four player multiplayer mode.

Utacchi will be released in Japan on February 25 for ¥5,250 (~$58.75)
