Microsoft Discontinues Xbox Live for Original Xbox

Online services for the original Xbox and Xbox games will end in April.

The latest Gamescore Blog reveals that Microsoft will be discontinuing the Xbox Live service for the original Xbox and all original Xbox games. Backwards compatible Xbox games and Xbox Originals will also be affected by this.

According to Microsoft, the service must be discontinued due to future Xbox Live enhancements which will be incompatible with the original Xbox and its games.
