Sony Announces ModNation Racers Release Date and Details

In addition to announcing the release date, Sony announces retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses.

Sony has officially announced details for ModNation Racers for PS3 and PSP. Both versions will be released on May 25, 2010.

In addition to the release date, Sony also announced retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order from GameStop, you will receive a voucher for Kratos and the Kart of Chaos. The Amazon pre-order bonus will allow you to play as Ratchet or Clank. The Best Buy pre-order bonus is a voucher for Nathan Drake and the Jungle Jeep vehicle. In addition to the retailer specific characters, if you pre-order the game you will also receive a bonus mystery mod and kart.

All the pre-order bonus characters look hideous.

It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent.
