New Naughty Bear Videos

The list includes a cutscene, vignette, and parody.

Today 505 released three brand new videos of their upcoming title, Naughty Bear.

The game is set on the Island of Perfection, where teddy bears live in peace and harmony. Every time something goes wrong on the island, the inhabitants always blame Naughty Bear. Finally fed up, Naughty Bear sets out to exact his revenge.

Players will control the psychopathic bear on his quest to torment, both physically and psychologically, all of the inhabitants of the Island of Perfection.

Naughty bear will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime during Q2 2010.

Anyone else getting a huge Conker vibe from this game?

Not that I really care, since cuteness + carnage seems like a great combination.

Well Amazon does have a tendency to be right, however the press release received today did state unannounced Q2 date.

If Amazon is right though...well then Naughty Bear will be a good early birthday present :)

I just wish the bears looked cuter, more innocent. It would make everything feel a little more surreal. When every bear has a grumpy face, it doesn't seem as playfully devastating, IMO.

It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
