Oh hey, another Nintendo 64 game? Awesome. Mario Tennis may be one of the first Mario sports titles, but it's still an excellent game. It's light on features, but the core gameplay is solid and enjoyable. I actually prefer it over Mario Power Tennis, for some reason. Probably because of the power shots and gimmick courts, which don't seem to fit in with the gameplay, for some odd reason. In any case, any fan of Mario and/or tennis shouldn't hesitate to download it.

Ten new titles are released this week including a classic N64 sports game.
This week's Nintendo Download is packed with ten new titles across Nintendo's three services.
On WiiWare three titles are available this week. Jett Rocket, the latest from Nanostray developer, Shin'en Multimedia, is now available, alongside Pong Toss Pro - Frat Party Games from JV Games and Robin Hood: The Return of Richard from Nord Current.
Mario Tennis for the N64 is this week's Virtual Console release, the first title in the popular Mario Tennis series.
DSiWare titles make up the majority of this week's releases with six new titles appearing today. Maestro! Green Groove from Neko Entertainment, Date or Ditch from Gameloft, Animal Color Cross from Little Worlds Studio, Ancient Tribe from Circle Entertainment, Brain Drain from Enjoy Gaming, and Battle of Giants: Mutant Insects – Revenge from Ubisoft make up the releases.
