Goldeneye 007 for DS Announced

Check out the first six screenshots released for the upcoming title.

Earlier today Activision confirmed that the Wii exclusive Goldeneye 007 will actually be launching alongside a DS version of the the same name this November.

According to Joystiq, the news was confirmed after the title showed up in Nintendo's latest quarterly earnings report. The game is currently being developed by n-Space, a company known for their work on titles such as Geist.

Although it shares the same name as its Wii brethren, Goldeneye 007 for the DS will not be a port, but rather its own game. However Daniel Craig and Judy Dench will still be lending their voices for the characters.

Take a look below at the first six screenshots for the upcoming title, Goldeneye 007 for the DS.

Using the Tiger Woods definition of 'exclusivity' I see.

Even in the email sent by the publisher along with the DS images they referred to the Wii version as an exclusive.

Considering the DS version is its own entity I'd assume that it would become Goldeneye 007:(insert name here) at some point.

I thought this was mentioned at E3 but I could be mistaken.
