Ico, Shadow of the Colossus To Be Remastered in HD

Team ICO's two titles will be bundled and released on the PS3 soon.

The rumors have been floating for some time now, but the latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will be re-released on the PS3.

Both titles will be packaged together and remastered in HD for the PS3. Fans of both games will likely appreciate this upgrade as it should fix frame rate issues and make the two highly cinematic experiences more so when converted to HD.

Currently a release date is unknown and the release plans are unclear. Japan will definitely see release, and box art has been discovered for European release. It's likely that the collection will also be brought to America, but there is currently no confirmation of this fact.

Totally awesome! These games are going to be great in HD, especially Shadow of the Colossus which suffered from some serious framerate issues.
