Xbox Live Arcade October Promotion Begins

Hot on the heels of Summer of Arcade, Microsoft offers a special return on Live Arcade investments

Considering the program a "Thank-you Gift," Microsoft announced that those who spend 2400 points on specific content during the month of October will receive 800 points back.

While the points won't be returned until some time after the promotion is over, anyone who spends 2400 points on "Arcade games and/or game add-ons" will be able to spend the bonus 800 on content he or she wishes to, with no additional limitations.

The event begins October 1st, 12:01 AM, EST, and likewise, ends on October 31st, 11:59 PM EST.
