225 Games Available for Download at PSPGo's Launch

Sony revealed that there will be more than 16,000 pieces of digital content available for download when the PSPGo launches this week.

IGN reports that there will be 225 games, 2,300 movies, 13,300 television episodes available for download on the PlayStation Network when the PSPGo launches on October 1.

The games will be a mix of full games, such as God of War: Chains of Olympus, Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, and Gran Turismo, PSN exclusives, and PSP Minis.

Also, retail stores will sell vouchers with codes to download full games, such as Twisted Metal: Head On and Patapon 2.

Gosh, if I didn't already have an iPod touch I may want to get this.

And that's slightly sarcastic, but I have to admit -- 2,300 movies?!? 225 games at launch?!? I can dig it. As long as How I Met Your Mother is included in those 13,300 TV epis.

I still can't imagine how that thing can be comfortable to play. Riffing on Lauren's iPod Touch, at least the damn thing has buttons.
