New Super Mario Bros. Wii Dated for Japan

A retailer conference reveals the date and price of the upcoming platformer.

Kotaku reports on a supposed news leak from a Nintendo retailer conference in Japan. According to Kotaku, the price point and release date for New Super Mario Bros. Wii are now set. The game will be priced at ¥5,800 (US$66) and will hit stores on December 3.

The meeting has also produced news that Japan will be seeing pink and blue Wii Remotes soon, and the title Poké Park Wii Pikachu no Daibouken (Pikachu's Big Adventure) will be released on December 5. Finally, NHK Red and White Quiz Battle (translation) was announced and given a release date of December 17 and price of ¥4,800 ($54).
