Final Fantasy XIII Possibly Coming to the West Q1 2010

In a recent financial briefing Wada revealed that it depends on development time.

Yoichi Wada, President of Square Enix revealed in a recent company financial briefing that the international release of Final Fantasy XIII could be happening before April 2010.

Currently the game is slated for a nondescript 2010 release in both North America and Europe. According to Wada, if the development team can complete production on the game quickly enough, Wada would like to release the game prior to the end of the company's fiscal year in April.

While sales have been up 33.2% for the company, profits are still down 55.7%. Final Fantasy XIII would obviously provide for better profits for the fiscal year.

It's unknown if both North America and Europe will in fact receive the game prior to April, but Wada mentioned that the company will be making an announcement soon.
