Zangeki Reginleiv Details Revealed
A retailer listing sheds some light about Nintendo's violent Wii action game.
A Japanese retailer listing, translated by Andriasang reveals new details about the upcoming title Zangeki Reginleiv, an action game published by Nintendo and developed by Sandlot.
The game offers a mix of melee and ranged combat. Players can melee with a sword and range attack with magic attacks.
Players will assume one of two playable characters, Fray and Fraya. Each character has unique attacks and a different set of weapons, with over 300 featured in the game.
Your main enemies in the game are a race of giant gods who are not only powerful, but numerous in each of the game's stages. In order to advance in the game you have to defeat a specific number of enemies in each stage. There might be other mission objectives to complete, unfortunately the listing is very vague in detailing what they may be.
Online play allows up-to-four players to play co-operatively. In the co-op mode, enemies will also co-operate with each other in order to try to defeat your team. The listing does not state if offline play is limited to one player or if there will be a split-screen mode.
The game will also support Wii MotionPlus. If you use the peripheral, you will be able to accurately direct your sword swings. If you prefer traditional controls, the game also supports the Classic Controller.
Zangeki Reginleiv will be available on February 11 in Japan and will be priced at ¥6,800 (approximately $76).
