Ingvar Petursson Will Oversee Modernization of Technology and Systems
REDMOND, Wash., June 25, 2010 - Nintendo of America announces the appointment of a new senior vice president to spearhead the modernization of the company's internal information systems. Ingvar Petursson has been hired as the senior vice president of Information Services. Effective July 19, Petursson will oversee all aspects of NOA's Information Services functions, including enterprise applications development, enterprise infrastructure and risk management.Activision's latest entry in the Transformers series is available now on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and PSP.

Last night, during a segment of the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon, Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America, demoed Donkey Kong Country Returns. As a bonus, Reggie also showed Fallon the Nintendo 3DS along with the upcoming title, Kid Icarus: Uprising. Shortly after, he confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS is coming out next year.

In my opinion, Sony's biggest surprise of E3 was the reveal of Twisted Metal for the PlayStation 3. I've enjoyed the series in the past, and a new entry in the series is quite welcome as it has been dormant for far too long.
