Both English and Japanese voiceovers available as well.
We can now narrow down the North American release window for Level-5’s Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Namco Bandai revealed that they have moved from the vague release window of 2012 to the slightly less vague release window of winter 2012. Assuming the publisher isn’t referring to the winter we currently find ourselves in, this means that we’ll likely see the Studio Ghibli collaborated RPG come stateside at the end of the year.
Drake's handheld debut is so much more than a recreation of its console brethren.
Drake is capable of many superhuman acts. He can scale nigh impassable rock faces, he can run, gun, jump and punch – he can do all these things without exuding a single drop of sweat and with a clear conscience to boot, despite all the blood he has shed over the years. But all of this pales in comparison to what Sony is asking of him now. Soon we’ll see what Drake is really made of and if he can move the PlayStation Vita off store shelves and into the pockets of gamers.
We have a copy of Snowblind Studios' latest to give away to one dedicated reader.
It's not everyday that PixlBit has the opportunity to run a contest, but we were lucky enough to receive a copy of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North on the PlayStation 3 to give away. If you haven't been keeping up, Jesse Miller reviewed the game favorably, awarding it three and a half stars earlier last month. In order to win this solid and likely overlooked game, you don't have to do too much.
If this fellowship had borne the Ring of Power, things may have ended very differently.
It’s plain to see what Snowblind Studios was trying to do with Lord of the Rings: War in the North. They wanted to create a game that would appeal to fans of the books and films while simultaneously creating something new – telling a tale that had not yet been told. I applaud them for attempting to strike out on a new path, but there is a big difference between expressing the intent to do something and actually following through with it and unfortunately War in the North falls short of their self imposed expectations and fails to innovate in any real meaningful way.
Actors and developers share there love for all things Tolkien in this trailer. Lord of the Rings: War in the North comes out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 1, 2011.
