This sixth game in the franchise focuses on teams of extreme athletes attempting to conquer the world’s most dangerous cornices to defeat the challenge set forth by a renegade former member of the team. With a World Tour whose plot focuses on getting the team back together, the action within SSX fulfills the wishes of long-time fans who have been dreaming of  diverse characters, high flying tricks and realistic slopes.

Even though Electronic Arts had a good year, some developers are being let go.

Electronic Arts is in the process of "restructuring", according to a report on The Escapist. The publisher is laying people off in its Canadian workforce, specifically EA Canada and Black Box. The reason for this is unknown considering EA had good sales numbers in 2011.

Kyle details his latest tournament travels for Nintendo's most competitive brawler.

Last weekend I attended a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). It’s certainly not my first one, but it’s the first since I’ve joined PixlBit. Despite being pretty small (the largest I’ve been to had around 243 entrants for Melee and around the same for Brawl), it was a lot of fun, and I got to hang out with a bunch of people I hadn’t seen in far too long. I’ve been playing the game competitively for years now, and with all the people I’ve met and the stuff we’ve done, I don’t see any reason to stop. Also, insert something sappy about friends and making memories .
