Hey, it’s a Nerds Without Pants spoiler cast! We’ve only done two of these before (for The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Knight if you’re wondering), but The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild is certainly deserving of its own episode. So that’s what we did.

By now you have probably opened all of your presents and are wondering what else to do with your day. Since you can’t go to the theater to watch The Interview (topical!), why not kick back with some eggnog and listen to the Nerds Without Pants have an exhaustive discussion about some of our favorite music from the seventh console generation? It's time for another three parter here at Backloggers Anonymous! Angelo is joined by Jaime and Julian to talk about a pretty big game that two thirds of the cast have never played: Final Fantasy X. Now, after a three hour FF episode of Nerds Without Pants you might think that Julian doesn't have much more to say about fantasies that are final, but you would be wrong. Seriously, we can't get this guy to shut up!
With little interest in the future, Sly's latest outing meddles mostly in the past.
Mascot games are kind of my thing. Mario, arguably the first ever platform “mascot” (with all apologies to Pitfall Harry and Pac-Man), is the dude that lured me into a lifelong obsession with video games in the first place. I gobble up practically every one I come across and among them the Sly Cooper games have remained a stand-out franchise. With a trilogy of games hitting the PlayStation 2, it seemed only natural that Sly would find his way to the PlayStation 3. But with Sucker Punch moving on to inFAMOUS it seemed any hope of a current generation Sly game would be going up in smoke. Thankfully Sanzaru, developer of the acclaimed HD trilogy treatment, stepped up to the plate and took the series in its charge. Could they regain Sly’s former glory?

Cross play may have just gotten a bit more relevant.
During today's Gamescom conference in Cologne, Germany, Sony released information about a brand new initiative that will start this fall with the release of its flagship titles. The "Cross Buy" program will allow players who purchase the PlayStation 3 version of a game to also take the same title on the go at no extra cost. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will lead the initiative, netting owners of the PlayStation 3 title a free digital copy for their portable Vita.

Developer Sanzaru has been lovingly working on the Sly’s first foray on the PS3 for quite some time. Announced last year, the Cooper gang’s next adventure will take the misfit group through the ages and apparently onto Sony’s latest handheld device, the Vita, as well.
A release window has been announced for the return of Sly.
Sony has told Game Informer that the fourth installment in the Sly Cooper series will be released this fall. Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is being developed by Sanzaru Games, who handled the HD Collection of the series and not Sucker Punch Productions, the original developer of the franchise.
You won't be getting your PS Move mini games if you download.
About two weeks ago, Sony announced that The Sly Collection would be available on the PSN and now some more details are coming in before its release tomorrow. The three games will be $10 each, will be in 720p widescreen display, have 3D support, trophy support, and will run at 60 fps.
