Get a real feel for Doom's stunning visuals!
Anticipation was high heading into this year’s QuakeCon, and the excitement was all due to the planned reveal of id Software’s upcoming Doom. Without any cameras allowed in and no demo videos or screenshots released, letting you get a good feel for what was shown in two separate demos will be a bit tough. Through the high-tech wizardry afforded us by MS Paint, though, you’re sure to have a full grasp on the dark, brutal, and intense segments shown on stage.
Sounds thrilling.
After a tongue-in-cheek teaser for a zombie game during yesterday's Nintendo Direct presentation, Ubisoft formally announced "ZombieU" today at E3. The Wii U exclusive will set players in a zombie outbreak on the streets of modern day London as thousands are ravaged by a deadly virus. The first person shooter integrates interactive elements, GamePad controls, multiplayer, and more.

DrinkBox Studios turned a few heads at PAX East with their reveal of Guacamelee!, “Mexican themed co-op-multiplayer dimensions-swapping Metroid-vania beat-em-up platformer” starring a “down on his luck Mexican anmed Juan Aguacate.” Just from that sentence alone, you can see why people were intrigued by this bizarre, yet beautiful game. At least someone from Sony noticed enough to make Guacamelee! a PSN exclusive for both the PlayStation 3 and the Vita as part of Sony’s PlayStation Pub Fund Program.

With three behemoths coming together and mixing their IPs in this lovely video game soup, one begins to wonder exactly who would get developer duties on the project. Would it be Capcom? Namco Bandai? Sega?
The highest scorer will win a trip to Denmark.
If you’re heading into a Gamestop on May 15 to purchase Diablo III or Max Payne 3 (or Game of Thrones-we won’t judge), you may want to slap a pre order down on Hitman: Absolution. Why, you may ask? Besides the fact that it’s the first entry in the popular stealth action series since 2006, Square Enix has put together a rather unprecedented pre order bonus that’s—you guessed it—exclusive to Gamestop.
