A few of the A.C. New Leaf gameplay activities awaiting gamers.
AKA Nintendo Circus, depending on who you ask
Like many of you out there, I wasn’t terribly impressed by Nintendo’s press conference at this year’s E3. One of the things they touted as being a major showpiece was a game called Nintendo Land. Much like Wii Sports, the aim of this title is to introduce players to a new controller--in this case the Wii U GamePad--through a virtual theme park bursting with references to classic Nintendo franchises. At each attraction, your mii will don an appropriate costume and partake in a challenge that teaches the player a new way to use the Wii U GamePad. Nintendo’s hope is that this game will do for the Wii U what Wii Sports did for the Wii, and explain to new players exactly what the Wii U is all about.
Family-Friendly Safari Adventure Now Available At Retail
Burlingame, Calif., September 22, 2009 - Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, announced today that Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition is now available at retail for an MSRP of $29.99. Rated E for everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), Animal Kingdom: Wildlife Expedition gives players the chance to explore wildlife in environments such as the jungle and savannah, in a photographic safari adventure.
You can now ride a cow in Harvest Moon.
Ever since I first played Harvest Moon: Animal Parade at E3 this past June, I've been dying to get my hands on it again. The game takes the premise of the previous Harvest Moon games, but expands on the features and graphics to make this game not only worthwhile, but better.
