He's gonna keep us waitin', huh?
Welcome to a jam-packed Headlines edition of Nerds Without Pants! It’s time to kick off “The-Artist-Formerly-Known-as-E3” season, starting with Sony’s big PlayStation Showcase! It sure was…something. Something that we’ll talk about. Please be excited for it. PLEASE.
If Giant Bomb won't deliberate, we sure as hell will!
Welcome to a wacky episode of Nerds Without Pants! In this episode, we decide the 1998 GotY list because, well…why not? Then we talk a whole mess of games before pitting Shaq vs Kobe in the steel cage!
I already forgot what we talk about in this one.
Welcome to a (relatively) short news edition of Nerds Without Pants! Julian was on vacation when we recorded this, and is still in “away” mode as this goes up, so please excuse the brief show notes this week
This baby can fit so many games in it!
Heya! I bet you weren’t expecting this episode of Nerds Without Pants so soon! Well, since we got delayed a week with our first episode back from hiatus we decided to record this one a week later to stay on the schedule we had planned. It’s an all-Consumption Junction edition of NWP because we…had a ton of games to talk about!
Okay, that's the last 2020 joke. Probably.
NERDS WIITHOUT PANTS IS BACK! Technical issues kept us away for an extra week, but we’re joined once again by Xavier Krieger to talk about our favorite games that we played in 2022. It’s a really fun discussion, and unlike nearly every GotY podcast you’ve heard for the year. Also, Elden Ring challenges Chrono Cross for the NWPWF Heavyweight Championship in a steel cage match. Please enjoy!
Justin is Hugh Grant and Julian is Drew Barrymore!
Welcome back! We’re still on hiatus, but it’s time for our annual music special, and we have a jam-packed edition this year. We’ve gone back to our older format of getting together and talking about our music selections and what they mean to us. In traditional Nerds Without Pants fashion we overshare, things get heavy, and then there’s probably a joke about boobs or something. You know how it goes by now.
Guess we aren't getting that Goncharov game.
Welcome to a really special edition of Nerds Without Pants! We watch The Game Awards together every year, but this year we decided to record ourselves, and it ended up working out as a pretty fun commentary track! Enjoy our live reacts to some big announcements, dunk on fashion, and listen to Justin totally fracture when one of his least favorite games of 2022 wins an award. There are instructions on how to sync up the audio with the video archive in the intro to the show, and we have included a link to the official video archive below. I mean, I guess you could listen to this along with someone else's stream, but that would be kinda weird.
Rest in peace, Dark Knight.
We’re rapidly running out of stock of Nerds Without Pants, so get yours now! This episode has our lovely listeners turning the tables on us and doing the game recommendations for once! Then we talk a few games, and even some comic books!
The 25th anniversary of a victory fanfare for the PlayStation.
“And now, the most anticipated epic adventure of the year will never come to a theater near you. Final Fantasy VII.” And so began my interest in RPGs. That commercial blew my 12-year-old mind back in 1997. Besides the impressive animations shown (which we would later learn were only cut-scenes), I was intrigued at seeing that we somehow jumped from Final Fantasy III on the Super NES to now VII on the PlayStation. “What manner of sorcery is this?”, I wondered.
