These are memories frozen in time, people!
They say that 1998 was the greatest year for gaming, and it's hard to argue that point! Julian certainly doesn't try, as he highlights some music from some of the biggest games of that fabled year. After catching a glimpse of the Wii U's potential at Nintendo’s conference, some of the excitement is tempered by the raw facts on battery life. According to official figures from Nintendo, the Wii U Gamepad will only last for 3-5 hours on battery charge. Since most of its functionality shown at E3 involves players moving it in multiple directions and around the room, it may be tough to charge and play with the controller at the same time.

Gearbox is developing a sequel to their sleeper hit Borderlands and now they have announced a casting call for someone who looks like Lilith from the first game. If hired, this person will appear in the game as a live action version of the character. Afterward, they may also be able to participate in promotional events and trade shows.
Called "Half-Life: Origins", InfectiousDesigner follows up their "Beyond Black Mesa" trailer with this cool recreation of the intro of the first game.
