Last year? Deforestation. This year, Ubisoft has decked out the LA Convention Center again.
The banner is just as massive as last year's giant Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood banner, but this year, only two Assassins appear.
The staff lends their best guesses for what the upcoming show has to offer excited gamers.
E3 2011 appears to have crept up on us once again. Just as we did last year, the staff has come together to provide predictions for the coming show. This year, unlike last year, most of the show is a huge question mark.
After seeing a bunch of the banners at the show, Jason lends his commentary for each one.
Now that Jason has arrived in LA and has had the opportunity to stop by the convention center, he lends some commentary on all of the banners. He splits his thoughts between each of the publishers represented and offers some ideas of what everyone can expect from each. Some of his expectations are driven by last year's showings, while others are based on his best intuition. A sequel that seems to have improved in every way from an already great game.
When inFamous was released in 2009, it took the gaming world by storm. It was a super-hero inspired game that used open world mechanics along with a deep story and strong morale choices to catch the eyes of many gamers. inFamous was met with critical acclaim, and now the team at Sucker Punch seeks out to top the first game in each and every way with inFamous 2. From my hands on with the game, I feel that it truly lives up to that expectation.

2K Games has just announced the release date for XCOM, a tactical action game set in mid-century America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Players will lead a team of elite field agents into battle on March 6, 2012 in America, and March 9 worldwide. By using a combination of firearms and "sci-fi abilities," they will try to defeat an otherworldly enemy who looks to destroy and rebuild the world in their image.
