This episode of NWP fueled by Euro goth metal.
Welcome to a rocking episode of Nerds Without Pants! It’s an all Consumption Junction edition, because the Pantsless Ones have lots to say about futuristic cruise ships, goth metal concerts, virtual card obsessions, and much, much more!
This podcast is so bad, it's good!
Welcome to a fun-filled episode of Nerds Without Pants! We are joined once again by Friend Of The Show John Gholson to talk all about B movies and B games. What exactly do those entail? I'm glad you asked. Fortunately, we have John's incredible knowledge of film to lead the way. We skip the Consumption Junction portion of the show and instead split it into a section on movies and a section on video games. Enjoy!
A promising new beginning.
If there is anything I’ve learned from being a DBZ game fan over the years, it’s that an anime fighter/simulation sequel is nearly always better than the original. They usually clean up the formula the second time, as in the case of 2002’s Dragonball Z Budokai, which was followed up by sequels with enhanced graphics and tightened gameplay. 2005’s Budokai Tenkaichi provided a blueprint for its sequels to later refine the gameplay and expand to one of the biggest and most diverse rosters in the series. If you ask me, it’s a safe bet Dragonball Xenoverse 2 will probably be an amazing game. Of course, that is not too helpful to us at the moment. Right now, we have Dragonball Xenoverse, which leaves me wishing they could’ve done it right the first time.
Hey, just because we don't wear pants doesn't mean we don't have deep thoughts.
Well hello again. It’s time for part two of Nerds Without Pants episode 65: the show so nice we named it twice. This is a continuation of our lengthy discussion with Liana Kerzer, and this entire episode is about mental health and how video games can tie into that and even help. This ends up being a very personal episode of Nerds Without Pants, and you are about to see a different side of Angelo, Patrick, and Julian. So enjoy, and we hope that this topic begins some open discussion. Keep in mind that there are spoilers for the Gears of War and God of War series throughout.
More powerful than two Atari Jaguars taped together!
Welcome to the 64th episode of Nerds Without Pants! As you may have guessed (because Julian is a lazy dude that loves easy topics), this episode is all about the Nintendo 64. Come join the Pantsless Ones as we discuss the mouthwatering anticipation for Project Reality, some of our favorite and obscure games for the platform, and where it sits in video game history. It’s a fun and free-flowing conversation that may be a little different than the usual retrospective type podcasts. Stay tuned after the final song for Julian's mini rant about the Royal Rumble. Enjoy!
This episode is three hours of awesome sauce.
It’s a new year, and the nerds without pants are back with an epic, 3 hour extravaganza! Wait, come back, because you’re gonna want to listen to all of this. Not only do we have a great discussion about Christmas loot, Dragon Age, Game of Thrones, and Destiny, but we also have a very special interview with David Evans and Jamie Roboz, who worked on NWP indie favorite Rollers of the Realm. Enjoy!
