Street Fighter X Tekken Vita Characters Coming To Consoles Eventually

The 12 characters won't be exclusive to the portable after all.

Capcom's Seth Killian told Shacknews that the 12 extra characters in the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken will eventually come to consoles. "We'll find a way to make sure that console fans are happy, as well," Killian noted.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Coming March 13

The title has also gone gold.

Namco Bandai mailed a press release announcing the release date of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. The new Naruto game will be on store shelves on March 13, 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Sly Cooper Thieves In Time Due This Fall

A release window has been announced for the return of Sly.

Sony has told Game Informer that the fourth installment in the Sly Cooper series will be released this fall. Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is being developed by Sanzaru Games, who handled the HD Collection of the series and not Sucker Punch Productions, the original developer of the franchise.

PlayStation 3 Version of BioShock Infinite to Include the Original

Two awesome games for the price of one.

Sony has announced that PlayStation 3 copies of BioShock Infinite will include a copy of the first BioShock for free. Rather than a download code in the box, the game will be included directly on the Blu-Ray disc. In addition to the original game, BioShock Infinite will also come with Move support, exclusively for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.

Assassin's Creed III Concept Art Leaked

Get a feel for the environments and settings from these five images.

After Assassin's Creed III information was leaked and subsequently officially confirmed yesterday, fans have been reeling over the news. Set during the Revolutionary War, the series is set to tap into completely new territory for gaming in general. Hot on the heels of the announcement come five pieces of what look like screen shots, but are more likely concept art given the coloration and smoothness of the images. The images come courtesy of All Games Beta, but there's no indication of how they managed to procure them. Be sure to click through to get a look at all of the images!

Sony Online Entertainment Taking Down Four MMOs

EverQuest Online Adventures among the titles going down.

Sony Online Entertainment has announced it is taking down four MMOs from the last generation. EverQuest Online Adventures, Cosmic Rift, Star Chamber and Infantry will be no more on March 29, 2012. To help with the transition, SOE is offering players of EverQuest Online Adventures a 3 month Gold Membership to EverQuest and EverQuest II starting March 16th.

Amazon France Lists Ratchet & Clank HD Collection

The posting also mentions a May 16 release date.

Eurogamer is reporting that a listing has gone up on Amazon France for Ratchet & Clank HD Collection - one of the few series left that Sony has yet to modernize in high resolution on the PlayStation 3. The listing has since been removed for reasons unknown. Before coming down, the collection was listed for release on May 16 with no details on the included games.

"The Cave" Trademarked By Double Fine

The game is confirmed to have no relation to the Kickstarter-funded Double Fine Adventure.

UPDATE - The Cave is confirmed to not be the official name for the Double Fine Adventure, which is being financed by their Kickstarter fund. The following was released by Double Fine: "While we can't comment on unannounced projects, we can say that Double Fine's Kickstarter-funded adventure game has not been started, designed, or even imagined yet. No trademarks have been filed on its behalf."

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights Review

Cramming every idea into one game does not make it the greatest game.

Dr. Lautrec, a renowned Parisian puzzle-solver, is thrust into the center of a giant mystery that promises to tax your noggin as you seek the rightful heir to the French throne. At least that’s the way the game starts out.  As you work to recover enchanted treasures guarded by cops and secretive knights, you end up doing lots of other things that have nothing to do with solving puzzles. Each segment of the game drags in another popular game component and tries to create the perfect combo-game that will appeal to everyone.  Problem is, no single piece of Dr. Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is particularly enjoyable, so the end product feels like a mix of bland, sequential minigames with a repetitive structure.
