Double Fine's Trenched is coming to Europe under a different name, Iron Brigade. The mech tower defense game will be updated the day the game is released to Europe to change the name. This update will also include new features.
PETA's new campaign targets Mario's iconic power-up but says it was a "Tongue-in-Cheek" joke.
PETA is saying no to Tanooki suits. Their new campaign is called Mario Kills Tanooki and they claim that Mario is promoting the wearing of fur in real life, not just in the game, by using his Tanooki suit. To further this theory, a flash game called Super Tanooki Skin 2D, in which you play as a skinless raccoon, was created and is playable on the PETA site.
Now they can be bought individually.
Fans of the Sly Cooper franchise were delighted when The Sly Collection came to retail. It featured the three PlayStation 2 games remastered in HD and with Trophy support among other features, some hidden from players up until that point. Well, if you haven't picked up the collection yet, here's another way to get your Cooper fix.

The new DLC is called Flashback Map Packs.
Sony is bring new content to Uncharted 3. First is the Flashback Map Pack #1 which will add new but familiar maps to the game's multiplayer. Also available is a Capture Trooper skin and ISA and Helghast headgear, inspired by another Sony franchise, Killzone.

Syndicate stays true to its roots while adapting to the future.
When EA outed Syndicate early this year it was met with a fair amount of criticism. Critics specifically belabored the fact that the reboot was taking the beloved isometric action-adventure-strategy game and molding it into a “visceral first person shooter.” In a video game landscape where the FPS is king the move makes sense, but that doesn’t mean that longstanding fans are going to be understanding of the change. So it is perhaps with an olive branch extended that publisher EA has revealed that the new Syndicate will contain a robust four-player cooperative campaign to go along with the single-player experience.

Back in late 2001, Microsoft first entered the realm of console gaming with the Xbox. Although its sales numbers are nothing impressive when compared to that of the PlayStation 2, it did manage to outsell longtime videogame company Nintendo's GameCube, which is still a fine showing for a first console outing. Despite being a massive financial loss for the company, it laid the groundwork for much of what is now standard in the gaming industry.

To celebrate this prestigious milestone Nintendo has given 3DS and DSi owners Four Swords for free, promoted a touring orchestral concert series featuring music from the beloved franchise and will be capped off with the release of Skyward Sword in less than a week. We can now add web comic to that list.
