The computer visionary passed away at the age of 56.

Today, Apple has announced the death of their former CEO, Steve Jobs, at age 56. Jobs was one of the founders of Apple Corporation, and recently stepped down from his position at Apple for health reasons. While Jobs is most widely known as a leader with Apple's computer and portable hardware, he was also involved in many entertainment-based companies, including Pixar. Battlefield 3 Hands On Preview

Viewing the Battlefield 3 Online Beta through the eyes of a noob.

Deciding to take the Battlefield 3 Online Beta for a spin was not a simple decision for me.  It’s the latest in a series that I’ve never played before and while I’ve been known to take some names and kick some ass in even the toughest of FPS single player modes, multiplayer has always been a different story entirely.

Battlefield 3 Open Beta Now Live on PSN

Let the smack talk begin!

According to the PlayStation Blog the Battlefield 3 Open Beta is now operational on the PSN for gamers in North America and European territories. This comes as a sigh of relief for those that thought that the Beta would be open during the normal Tuesday rollout earlier in the week and were sorely disappointed when it turned out to be limited affair.

Cladun x2 Review

A super-customizable retro RPG by NIS.

I’ve never been more impressed by a title screen. Picture this: it’s a peaceful, moonlit night in 8-bit land. The pixelated moonlight is reflecting off of a pixelated island. There’s a catchy Japanese song playing (the one used in the official trailer). This one scene tells you pretty much everything you need to know about the game. It shows that NIS really understands its core fans and has put a lot of effort into making the game exactly what they want it to be.

Star Fox Review Rewind

A great title that missed the VC… for pretty good reasons.

If you have been playing Nintendo games and/or the Wii and DS, you may have seen the little seizure warning message that popped up before you started the game or after you started the system. You may ask yourself, “What was the point of those messages?” to which I answer you, “To cover their ass ends.” Yes, to you gamers who may be prone to seizures because of flashing screens and colors, this is to warn you about the dangers you may put yourself into. Why? Because you are too lazy to read the instruction manual, but then again who reads those?

Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions Review

One stand-out title buoys this collection of rehashes and spin-offs.

While Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions is a brand new game, it’s comprised mostly of existing titles. Both the original Pac-Man and Galaga make their appearance alongside their modern revivals, Pac-Man Championship Edition and Galaga Legions. Exclusive to the collection are two brand new games, Pac-Man Tilt and Galaga 3D Impact. Though 3D Impact offers a neat AR experience, its inclusion is mostly forgettable, leaving Pac-Man Tilt to carry the title. The problem here is that Pac-Man Tilt is mostly enjoyable, but occasionally infuriating due to its mix of traditional and motion controls.
