Both the PS3 and 360 versions will allow for a voluntary install to run higher res graphics.
While speaking with GamerZines, DICE’s Patrick Liu indicated that Battlefield 3 would allow players to install a high res package that will make the game look much better on the Xbox 360.

Deciding to take the Battlefield 3 Online Beta for a spin was not a simple decision for me. According to the PlayStation Blog the Battlefield 3 Open Beta is now operational on the PSN for gamers in North America and European territories. This comes as a sigh of relief for those that thought that the Beta would be open during the normal Tuesday rollout earlier in the week and were sorely disappointed when it turned out to be limited affair.
Three EA games will feature content exclusive to the PlayStation 3.
Jack Tretton revealed during the PlayStation press event that three upcoming EA games will feature exclusive content on the PlayStation 3. SSX will offer a Mt. Fuji level, modeled after the real location in Japan. The level will feature 10 drop points, giving players a significant amount of content to enjoy.
