WiiWare Demos Available November 22

Nintendo plans to relaunch the WiiWare demo service this Monday and this time it appears to be staying.

After a year-long hiatus, WiiWare Demos are finally making a comeback. There are four planned titles ready for a launch this Monday: BIT.TRIP FATE, And Yet It Moves, ThruSpace and Jett Rocket. The service also appears to be back for good this time around as the e-mail Nintendo sent out this morning states that "additional demos will be added on Mondays and each will remain available on the Wii Shop Channel for a limited time". Great news for those curious about current titles.

PB & Jason Issue 2: Move, Get Out The Way

In the newly christened PB & Jason, issue #2, Jason talks about the Playstation Move. In fact, Jason says everything he can about the Playstation Move. He could even tell you more than you could ever want to hear about the device. Time Crisis: Razing Storm Hands On Preview

I made it a point to hunt down Time Crisis: Razing Storm at this year's E3.

As a fan and owner of the original three main-series Time Crisis games, when I heard Namco was launching a new Time Crisis title, I made sure to schedule some time to hunt down and play the game at E3. To my surprise, Namco-Bandai's booth didn't actually have the title available to play, so for the first two days of E3, I didn't manage to find the game. Then, on the last day, after playing the Little Big Planet 2 demo in Namco's booth, I happened to find a second set of Move-compatible games against the back wall, behind all the PS3 titles, almost as if they were hidden away. It turned out these titles were various third-party Move games, although it seemed all the reps available at the demo corresponded to each game's respective company.

Move Over, Move is on the Move!

How will Sony's Move play out?

Sony’s Move seems destined to have a rough launch between the continued success of Nintendo’s Wii and the imminent release of Microsoft’s Natal. At first, Move appears to be very similar to Wii’s control scheme and some of Natal’s control scheme, but there just might be something beyond the Mii-too mentality.
