Xbox Live Marketplace screenshots inadvertently blow the cover on the two latest challengers.
After screenshots recently went up on the Street Fighter x Tekken profile on Xbox Live Marketplace, Shoryuken spotted two new challengers for the upcoming fighter. M. Bison from the Street Fighter series and Xiaoyu, Tekken mainstay, will be playable. The reveal of these new characters brings the roster to a healthy 30, with 15 characters appearing from each series.
Street Fighter X Tekken will be available for the PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on March 06, 2012. The PlayStation Vita version's release date has yet to be announced.

Tekken Hybrid was recently released and the popular fighting series finally gets to put up against rival Street Fighter series in Tekken X Street Fighter due out next year. Now is the absolute best time to be a fighting game fan. Games like Super Street Fighter 4 (now Arcade Edition), Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Tekken 6 and Mortal Kombat have been keeping the fighting scene strong and the list of titles keeps growing. The game on most people's radars now is Street Fighter X (X = Cross) Tekken. This game is the Capcom take on the Street Fighter and Tekken collaboration, and there will be another version known as Tekken X Street Fighter. However Street Fighter X Tekken has been in the spotlight and seems to be closer to being released. I was able to play a good amount of matches and feel out certain characters and I can assure people that are familiar with games like Super Street Fighter 4 that this is NOT the same game.

Capcom's latest fighter is clearly based on the latest iteration of the Street Fighter series, Super Street Fighter IV. Players familiar with that experience will be able to easily hop into this one as the two play extremely similarly. The exception here is that the game offers tag team play, which does alter the dynamic of the play experience to a degree.
