3DS sales have improved, painting a better picture for the future.

With Nintendo's fiscal year now coming to an end, the losses the company expected in late 2011 have been posted. This marks the first time the company has ever posted a loss since publicly reporting in 1981. The fiscal year, which ended on March 31, saw Nintendo drop 36% in revenue from the previous year due to weaker hardware and software sales, which resulted in a loss of 37.3 billion yen ($458 Million USD).

New James Bond Title Coming This Fall

007 Legends will tie six Bond movies into one storyline.

Activision is celebrating James Bond's 50th Anniversary with a new game, 007 Legends. Rather than a video game interpretation of the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, the game will combine scenes from the new film along with five other classic Bond films. Eurocom, the studio behind last year's Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, will be developing 007 Legends for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which is currently slated for a fall release.

What?

This week's PB & Jason covers a lot of ground. It starts with the shock of a popular two-month-old game that can be found at half its original retail price. The title Miyamoto excitedly revealed years ago during a round table will finally be seen by the public.

Yesterday, we reported that Nintendo would be showing off a new Mario title for its soon-to-be-released Wii U console at E3. Pushmo Review

All this pushing and pulling reminds me of another Nintendo puzzle game or two…

Pushmo, the first 3DS digital download title from Intelligent Systems, could easily be mistaken for an Art Style game, which are found by the dozen on the Wii and DS shops. Like those games, it takes a simple premise (puzzle-platforming) and graphics and makes an extremely in-depth and meaty experience. The result is one of the best eShop titles available right now, deserving of a download from all 3DS owners.
