Gearbox Producer teases that the Wii U is a “Powerful, Powerful Machine”
Skeptics have been dismissing the Wii U since its reveal, claiming that the new console still will fail to hold a candle to the current generation consoles. Some developers have been going out of their way to dispute these claims, such as Vigil, the company behind Darksiders 2, claiming that the console will have a version of the game that is “at least as good as” the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. Gearbox however, goes even further to say flat out that The Wii U version of their upcoming title, Aliens: Colonial Marines, will indeed look better than the rest.

We covered what we covered
We all know what the big story of this week, nay this month has been. To be honest, that which shall not be named has been reported on over and over again, and all of us were quite frankly a little sick of it. Thus, we decided to focus our sights on Konami instead. Konami has been a beloved development studio bringing us many classics including the beloved Metal Gear Solid franchise. However, as of late they have not been faring so well. With few new titles and even less worthwhile ones, what will it take to make this development studio top notch again?
Although already leaked, the official announcement has now been made.
Although originally tweeted by Hideo Kojima, Konami has officially announced the release of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PlayStation Vita. The port is coming this summer and includes Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3, removing the inclusion of Peace Walked as seen in the home console release.
Content includes Sega Game Gear titles.

16:9 and online play will be added to the last generation fighter.
On their website, Arc System Works announced their plans to port their fan favorite fighter, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, to both PSN and XBLA. Originally released on PS2, PSP, and Wii, the fighter is getting a visual upgrade by moving to a 16:9 aspect ratio, while adding online play. Currently there's no known time frame for the release, but it was recently revealed that the game will be receiving an arcade port as well. As such, it's likely that Arc System Works is putting a large scale effort into the port and rerelease of the title.
Farewell, MGO. We barely knew ye. Really.
